Midtek Appliance Repair Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of appliance repair services (“Services”) by MidTek Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”) within the state of South Dakota. By requesting our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.
2. Service Fee and Diagnostics
We charge an $89 service fee for sending a service technician to your house. This fee includes the cost of diagnosing the appliance issue. If you choose to proceed with the repair, the $89 service fee will be waived, and you will only be charged for the cost of the repair itself.
3. Repair Estimate
After diagnosing the issue with your appliance, our technician will provide you with a written estimate for the cost of the repair. This estimate is based on the parts and labor required to complete the repair. By agreeing to the estimate, you authorize us to proceed with the repair and agree to pay the quoted amount upon completion of the repair.
Payment for the Services must be made in full upon completion of the repair. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Any outstanding balance not paid at the time of service may be subject to late fees and/or collections proceedings.
We provide a 13-month warranty on parts and labor for all completed repairs. This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, but does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. In the event of a warranty claim, we will repair or replace the defective part(s) or provide a refund at our discretion. The warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original customer.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of data, whether in an action in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence), or otherwise, arising out of or in any way connected with our Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services.
7. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the $89 service fee. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment, you will still be charged the service fee.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any changes to these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Dakota.
